Once you have downloaded the file from the Primary Assessment Gateway, you can import this into your MIS as well as Sonar.
1. Download from the Primary Assessment Gateway;
Once logged into The Primary Assessment Gateway, go to, ‘Available Activity’ then ‘View and download KS2 test results'.
Select ‘Download results’.
Open that page and choose Common transfer file (CTF) – you can then download a file 'full results with TA scores'.
2. To import into Sonar:
Import the CTF from the Primary Assessment Gateway into Sonar by dragging and dropping or uploading it to the 'Send a File to Sonar' area on the School page;
Tick KS2;
Files are processed every 15 minutes so you should see the raw scores in Assess > Statutory Assessments > KS2 before too long.
NB: On KS2 results day, we will need to have programmed the conversion tables into the software for the Key Stage Outcomes reports to populate so these will not be available until later in the day.
3. To view the data
The KS2 Outcomes report will show % of pupils at and above in each subject as well as the schools combined %.
The Primary Assessment Conversion Matrix report is useful for seeing this data against KS 1 Outcomes for the same pupils. Select KS2 Tests as the 'From' option.
