View Options
When viewing chart and tabular information either from reports, or using widgets within Sonar Multi-School, often you are presented with a series of View Options:
These options enable you to interrogate the report by a number of categories:
This view enables you to view your content by School. This enables you to make comparisons between the different schools within your multi-school environment. The data associated with your content is displayed by School name. Additionally, data for All Pupils across all Schools in your Trust is displayed.
This view enables you to view your content by Year Group. This enables you to make comparisons between the different years within your Trust. The data associated with your content is displayed alphabetically. The Year Group's displayed align to those that are configured in Sonar Tracker across your schools. Additionally, data for All Pupils across all Year Groups in your Trust is displayed.
This view enables you to view your content by Gender. This enables you to make comparisons between Male and Female pupil groups within your multi-school environment. Additionally, data for All Pupils across all Genders in your Trust is displayed, enabling you to compare Gender specific results with that of all pupils regardless of their Gender.
This view enables you to view your content based upon whether a pupil is categorised as Disadvantaged or not. This enables you to make comparisons between those groups of pupils categorised as Disadvantaged and those categorised as Not Disadvantaged within your Trust. Additionally, data for All Pupils regardless of whether they are Disadvantaged or not in your Trust is displayed, enabling you to compare Disadvantaged / Not Disadvantaged specific results with that of all pupils. Disadvantaged pupils are those defined as:
- Pupils who have been eligible for Free Schools Meals (FSM) at any point over the last 6 years.
- Pupils who have been looked after continuously for at least one day in the last year.
- Pupils who have left care through a formal route such as adoption.
This view enables you to view your content based upon whether a pupil is categorised as having an SEN or not. This enables you to make comparisons between those groups of pupils categorised as SEN and those categorised as Not SEN in your Trust. Additionally, data for All Pupils regardless of whether they are SEN or not for your Trust is displayed, enabling you to compare data about those categorised as having an SEN / Not SEN with that of all pupils.
This view enables you to view your content based upon a pupil's ethnic group. This enables you to make comparisons between pupils of different ethnicities your Trust. Additionally, data for All Pupils regardless of Ethnicity is displayed, enabling you to compare data of each different Ethnicity with that of all pupils across your Trust. The ethnicities displayed are determined by the differing ethnicities of pupils in your environment. Where there are no pupils of a specific Ethnicity, the Ethnicity is not displayed.
Information: Only those pupils with assessment data are listed in the different view. Pupils within the Trust who do not have assessment data are not included.
Information: Sonar Multi-School is only available for those users who are part of an establishment that comprises multiple schools in Sonar Tracker (for example, a Multi Academy Trust) and have the appropriate permission associated with their User ID to access Sonar Multi-School content.
