The best way to track the progress of children working outside of their year band is by setting targets and then using the target analysis report.
Please note the Primary Summative Progress Analysis report will not work in the desired way for children that are consistently working out of year group. This is due to the way the report works. Children working out of year group, regardless of progress, or lack of, will still show as having made progress due to remaining in the significantly below band.
