Assessment data should only be manually entered once and then imported electronically into other systems. Choose what works for you – enter Phonics data manually into Sonar and then export to your MIS or vice versa.

To enter Phonics Data manually
Assess > Statutory Assessments > Phonics tests
Select Year Group and/or class
There are separate columns for Year 1 and Year 2 data.
Click in a box and type the value you want to enter (0-40)
If you are entering lots of data you should ensure the Saved indicator continues to display. Issues such as poor internet may prevent saving. If the data does not save check your internet connection.
To return this data to your LA / export for importing into your MIS
